Air Horns

Does anyone remember in the 1980's some kids would have a yellow electronic bike horn? They made sounds by moving a switch on the back of it. Sound Blaster sounds correct but Im not sure. Anyone remember?

Who are these people in the horn-blowing truck? In the cul-de-sac where I live, usually around the morning between 10-12am, this open-back truck with things such as bikes and chairs in it drives slowly up and begins blowing this loud and EXTREMELY annoying horn. Usually they just drive around the circle making their obnoxious noise, then leave. However, if there is a skip out, they start taking from it and putting it into the back of their truck, even without anyone's permission. It happened at my house and it just happened next door. Bike Commuting dealing with crazy drivers? I had my first run in today with a crazy driver who honked his horn at me and then screamed out his window to get on the sidewalk. I was on the side of the road as far as i could be and he still did it. I have a 2004 polaris sportsman 500, last weekend we put a horn on it and the hot wire to the horn shorted out? under the seat well since that happened the bike has lost power, now it spits and spudders when it is under a little bit of strain, like going up a hill or just when i give it a lot of gas to take off fast. i have looked for fuses and circuit breakers but can't find anything wrong can you help me?

If you have a Tomy Walker Bike, please help.? I have been given one in bike form and need to change it to walker form for my 9 month old. I can not seem to get the front wheel colomn apart. You know the part that splits to become the back wheels of the walker. Is there a trick to it, a button or something or is the one I have broken? my horn isnt working on my 1994 kawasaki ninja. i went an baought a universal motorcycle hor. it doesnt work e my horn isnt working on my 1994 kawasaki ninja. i went an baought a universal motorcycle hor. it doesnt work either. there are two wires for the horn. so i hooked up the red one to the new horn and instead of using the black and white one on the bike i hooked up a ground one that came with the new horn when i turn the bike on my horn is sounding. my bike is a 250cc ninja . i didnt rewire the horn. one wire is red and one wire is black and white (only two wires). if i hook those up the horn doesnt work. if i hook up the red one and not the black and white one . then use the one that came with the new horn and run that one from the bolt that holds the horn and plug it into the ground on the horn it keeps blowing when i turn on the key .

What is the purpose of the battery that is used in motorbikes? My battery of motorcycle is not working but still i can use the lights and horn. I thought the bike battery woulld be used for lights,horn, indicator etc. But except for indicator all other things are working. So what would be the purpose of the bike battery then?

Horn not working on 91 FLSTC Harley Davidson? I just recently pulled out the heritage classic the other day, and i was getting it running. problem is, i need to get an inspection sticker.. ill turn on the bike, and sometimes the horn will go, but it sounds very faint like its about to die out. and other times it wont even work at all. i know the guy who does inspections so he will probably pass me w/o a horn anyway, but i would like to get it working just in case. i think he'd pass me because the bikes so loud you couldnt even hear the horn unless it was off! thanks yall! -nick

Are "noise making objects" allowed in High school basketball ? Are you allowed to bring "noise making objects" (cowbells, bike horns, thundersticks, etc) to a high school basketball game. My school wants to become on of the loudest places to play private school 3A basketball. I brought a cowbell to one of the games but my athletic director took it away from me because it was a artificial noise maker. BUT he allowed kids to bring megaphones to the game.

where do i complain about my bike ? hi frnds ,, i recently bought a new tvs apache bike but since the day i bought it its not been working properly...first it's self start stopped working and then horn and then the bike itself stopped working...i contacted the show room where i bought my bike from..they said they'll get it fixed ..i just kept calling them but nobody came...finally i had to go there myself ...they changed the battery and it worked fine but for only like 1 day ..it again stopped....i again contacted them..but now they dont even pick up my phone...when i go there they tell me they will come to my home to fix it...its been like 15 days but nobody came. infact they are telling me that i have got it fixed from somewhere outside and this is not there responsiblity anymore..which i didnt ..they r reluctant to help me..i don't know what i do...plzz help me guyzz.. and plz excuse me for any grammatical mistake my english is bad..;) thanks in advance

Bike won't start, anyone know? I've got a '99 CBR F4. After sitting for a few months, I went to start it and the bike wouldnt turn over. The lights would come on, and the more i tried to start it, the less power it'd have. I figured the recitifier was draining it, so I replaced that and the battery. And even then, it won't even turn over anymore nor will the lights or horn even flick on. Now, I don't know where to go. Is it the starter solenoid, or a burnt wire? Thanks in advance!
