My car horn goes off while vehicle is off and in park?

This morning my 1998 ford contour horn's went off I went out and started the car and it stopped however when I parked at the store and tried to take the key out it started going off again. I found that buy holding the break down while taking the key out it stops. However I live in an apartment complex and really don't want this happening again. I did try to use my horn while driving yesterday but it never worked in fact since I had the car the horn hasn't worked to my knowledge.

1. That sounds really odd. Has the car ever had an alarm system installed? If it has, then that could explain the problem. If your not sure, see if you can find out from where or who you bought it from or have a someone look for you. Regardless if it has an alarm system, there is a short somewhere. Someone could have tried to fix this before or messed the wiring up when doing some other work. If you cant find the problem, you can rewire the horn and the relay. Good luck.
