Truck Horns?

I'm a truck driver but I've always wondered why it's neccessary for a trucks horn to be louder than a cars?

2. For the same reason trains have even louder ones- it's more important for others to hear and avoid your truck than it is the other way around, because of a truck's limited agility/braking ability.
3. think about it some of the places we have to unload would you beable to hear a little car horn ?
