1997 Nissan xe Truck horn problems?

Something came loose behind the steeringwheel and now it rattles while i turn and also sounds the horn randomly while driving. Is there any way to turn off the Horn before i take it into a mechanic?

1. Yes; Unplug the wires at the horn/s !
2. Or remove the fuse,unless the fuse is for more than just the horn
3. There is a weight inside the steering wheel mounted in rubber that breaks loose and falls into the horn contacts. Look for the caps on the sides of the wheels remove the bolts and remove the air bag now pull out the weight. Throw it away you will not notice any difference. Bolt the horn button/air bag back on your done. Note Cruise control truck have a curved cover pull off foward and remove the 2 philips bolts then you can get the air bag bolt on that side. About ten minutes just simple hand tools.
