When is a horn not a horn ?

Okay YAers try and guess this without googling. I'm not talking about car or bike horns, musical horns or the cream filled horns its to do with animals okay ? This is just for fun. This isn't a joke but I couldn't get to the trivia section. There is an answer just think of animals with horns. Animals from Africa............. OK everyone I will have 2 tell u cos no-one got it. It when it's on a rhinoceros because its actually made of thick matted hair not Ivory or bone like every other horn or tusk
